Beauty Be You!!

It's been said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'm learning that beauty can have different appearances and meanings. (Beauty is a noun because it expresses an idea. nouns name a person, place, thing or idea. Beauty Means: the qualities in a person or thing that as a whole gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit). Beauty is in the way you learn how to be your true authentic self. It's when you learn how to embrace the best parts of you as well as the not so great parts. Beauty is encouraging yourself, respecting yourself, being true to yourself, disciplining yourself, speaking life into yourself and fulfilling your life's dreams and visions. Beauty IS loving yourself first. How can you love someone else when you don't know how to love you? You don't know how to accept you? Being beautiful is not just how attractive you are or how well you can wear makeup and how laid you keep your hair or how sexy you look in your best fit. Naaawww beauty, It goes down deep, far below the surface of what most people deem beautiful. Beauty is how well you treat yourself. How you value you! It's how well you treat others, how you show honor and respect to those deserving. It's in your selfless acts of simple kindness, gentleness and compassion and consideration. It's in humble honesty and integrity. Yeeeah! beauty comes in many forms but people miss it because they only look at what they see happening externally so, if you are not careful, that negative influence may just have the ability to pull you into an unhealthy view of yourself while falling in the trap of insecurities, judging yourself harshly, comparing yourself with the next person's appearance and comparing your accomplishments with someone else's instead of embracing your unique journey. Most people only focus on the part they can physically see but true beauty lies within. Sometimes you have to search it out. Beauty is the acceptance that life isn't perfect, our physical appearance may not be flawless, we may not have the perfect career; Our situations and circumstances may be far from perfect but just because our lives may not have turned out how we hoped, that doesn't take its beauty away. Our lives are beautiful, our experiences are beautiful because our hope is in the ONE who IS the essence of beauty! He IS PERFECT! That is where our true confidence lie. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. When you see yourself as God sees you, that's the "Beauty B'Yond the Makeup!" When you find THAT BEAUTY; NO person, NO place or thing can ever make you feel less than beautiful! So take off your mask beauty! It's time to go "BE YOU!!"
